SERVICES / OVERVIEW

Reporting and Procurement Data Services

One transparent data-check method, two distinct service outcomes.

SERVICE FOCUS

Two use cases. One reviewable method.

01

Reporting & data quality

02

Procurement exception controls

03

Documented review and handover

This illustrates the proposed engagement method, not an existing client project.

CHOOSE A ROUTE

Which starting point fits your problem?

Both services use data profiling, explicit business rules and an agreed review process. The difference is the decision that the work must support.

01 / REPORTING

Reporting & Data Quality Sprint

Choose this route when spreadsheet exports require recurring manual consolidation, management reporting is fragile or KPI definitions vary between teams.

Output: a documented reporting workflow, agreed KPI definitions, quality checks and handover.

02 / PROCUREMENT

Procurement Data Assurance & Exception Control

Choose this route when supplier prices, purchase orders, invoice lines or master data cannot be reconciled reliably.

Output: matching rules, an exception register and traceable cases for business review.

COMPARE

Defined outputs instead of broad IT consulting

The first project can be limited to a single recurring task, dataset or specific discrepancy. Scope, access, responsibility and acceptance are agreed before any work starts.

TRIGGER

Manual reporting work

Month-end reporting, a backlog of recurring reports, conflicting KPI logic or unreliable refresh steps.

TRIGGER

Procurement exceptions

Inconsistent purchase prices, unmatched invoice lines, missing effective dates or supplier/item mapping issues.

BOTH

A reviewable endpoint

Agreed data inputs, explicit tests, business review, documented unresolved items and a defined handover.

METHOD

From raw extracts to reviewable business data

A dashboard can help communicate results, but a visual layer cannot replace correctly defined data, checks or exception review.

01

Define data and business objective

Identify the question, available sources, accountable reviewers and what a usable output should look like.

02

Profile quality and matchability

Inspect keys, effective dates, missing values, units and inconsistent records before promising a reconciliation.

03

Document calculation and check rules

Describe matching conditions and KPI definitions so a business reviewer can repeat or challenge the logic.

04

Review the exceptions together

Keep ambiguous and unmatched cases visibly unresolved rather than presenting them as validated findings.

05

Hand over the result

Agree how to run, interpret and maintain the output, including limitations and follow-up actions.

BOUNDARIES

What the services do not promise

KERNROW focuses on scoped data operations rather than turnkey ERP implementations, legal claims recovery or statutory certification.

Evidence before conclusions

A detected discrepancy does not establish a legal claim. Likewise, a streamlined reporting workflow does not imply a guaranteed percentage of time saved.

Is a dashboard always included?

No. A validated dataset, repeatable transformation, KPI dictionary or exception register may be the most useful deliverable.

Do you need production ERP access immediately?

Not necessarily. Approved, limited exports can be a safer starting point. Direct system access is a separate decision.

NEXT STEP

Define a practical scope before committing to a project.

We review source data, checks and acceptance criteria before a proposal. No blanket delivery or savings guarantee.
